Q: I have never worked with an agent before, will it cost extra?
A: In most cases, no, agents are paid a commission by resorts, tour operators, cruise lines, and even some airlines, so the price we provide will be either be the same or lower than what you would find online.
Q: As a small business, how can you be price competitive with the giant online tour suppliers?
A: It’s all about affiliation, we are a small business that works in cooperation with one of the biggest travel companies in the world which gives us the same buying power as the “big guys”. We also know where to find deals that aren’t found on big online websites. And even if an online website has a great deal, our suppliers will generally match it.
Q: If your price is the same as a big online company, why book through you?
A: Price is not the only component of your trip. Even if our price is the same as the competition (and most of the time we’ll make certain it’s lower), we provide personal service that our competition doesn’t. This may not seem so important when you book, but when an unforeseen storm or other event causes a problem during your trip, having an expert available to help can be a life-saver.
Q: What methods of payment do you accept?
A: We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover. You can also make payment by money orders or check, however check payments must be received early enough so that they clear before your payment due date.
Q: If I have to cancel, are there penalties?
A: Most deposits are non-refundable or refundable less a fee. Airline tickets (with limited exceptions) are non-refundable once booked. As a general rule, the lower the price of the ticket/package, the more restrictive the cancel and change policies are. We are happy to provide detailed cancelation costs for your reservation when you book.
Q: Is there any way to avoid cancellation penalties for my trip?
A: Yes, travel insurance can protect your investment against unforeseen circumstances that may cause you to change or cancel your trip. Please ask us to provide an insurance quote – you can also view insurance information using the link on our book online page. (hyperlink)
Q: Are you accredited or insured?
A: We are an IATAN accredited agency and has such are required to hold a one million dollar insurance policy.
